Hobbies
Outside of animation, I enjoy creating miniatures from clay, wood, and wool, which enhances my understanding of how objects are constructed and improves my work in 3D animation. I love sketching, drawing, and exploring character designs, as these exercises strengthen my visual storytelling and creative thinking. Gaming and films are also a big source of inspiration, shaping my sense of timing, performance, and movement in animation. Recently, I’ve been learning digital sculpting with Nomad Sculpt, successfully creating Mickey and Pluto walking, and I’m currently developing a new female character.
Here are some of the 1:12 scale dollhouse furniture pieces I’ve created so far. Each piece is carefully crafted to capture fine details and realistic textures. Building these miniatures allows me to explore design, proportion, and materiality on a small scale, which also informs and inspires my work in animation and 3D modelling.

This sculpture was my first project in Nomad Sculpt, marking the beginning of my journey into digital sculpting. Through this piece, I familiarised myself with the program’s tools and workflow, experimenting with shape, form, and detail to bring the character to life. It was a valuable opportunity to translate my understanding of traditional sculpting into a digital space, laying the foundation for more complex characters and animations in future projects.

This is my 1:24 scale dollhouse, currently a work in progress. Inspired by American Victorian houses, I’m building the entire structure from scratch and designing a modern interior to contrast with the classic exterior. Every detail, from the architecture to the furnishings, is carefully crafted to bring this miniature home to life.

I created this pixel art specifically to be translated into a knitted jumper, with the design featured prominently on the front. This will be the first jumper I’ve ever knitted, making it an exciting new project to bring my design to life in a tangible way.
